Our Standard Railings

Look closely and see the difference in our railings. They are mounted with bolted posts to outside of deck. The "sweep space" permits ease in cleaning compared to pickets extending to deck floor. We place a 6"(+/-) decking board as the rail cap for usable space and install 2 different size profiles on either side of the pickets below the rail cap to create an architectural reveal. Note the double level trim between each rail post creating another "reveal" and creating an appearance that the rail posts are notched.
